Melinda Hernandez: Co-director of Sparks

I trusted Christ when I was four years old after Cubbies one night. Although I was little, I knew that Jesus had died for my sins and that I needed to ask Him to forgive me.

I was in Awana from the age of three all the way until I graduated from high school. I finished all the books in Cubbies, Sparks, Chums and Guards (now TnT), JV (now TREK), and Journey 24/7 (high school). I received my Citation Award in May of 2008.

I was a leader in Sparks for four years during high school, and this is my third year of being a co-director of Sparks.

I love being able to share the Good News of Jesus with the kids in Sparks!!!
